Jul 18, 2020 I have the kitchenaid grain mill. do not buy it unless you plan on making flour. my mixer runs significantly slower than it did when it was new two years ago. and it takes at least a 1/2 hour to grind the grain for even a 5 gallon batch.

You can just attach it to any KitchenAid stand mixer, as this should be compatible with all models. It looks like a cup in which you pour your grain, and then at the bottom you get the freshly milled grain you’ll use for your flour.
